Starting next Friday, September 26th, our neighbour The Royal Cinema (just west of Soundscapes at 608 College St.) is presenting an exclusive one-week screening of Steven Sebring's new documentary, a film 11 years in the making, Patti Smith: Dream Of Life. We're giving away two free pairs of tickets in total to this engagement, with one pair to be drawn from an in-store ballot box, and the other to be given away over at our Contests page, so any and all fans of Ms. Smith should click on over and enter now!

It's been a few years (almost exactly three, in fact) since FemBots' last free in-store performance in the shop, so we're very glad that in between releasing new Weewerk full-length Calling Out the week before and officially celebrating said release with a show at the Music Gallery the night after (tickets are still available right here!), they'll be playing among the stacks on Thursday, September 25th at 6pm.
