"This show has been cancelled yet again; Plastic Crimewave Sound is the band that just can't make it to Toronto. They were refused at the border due to issues with their Montreal show/paperwork. This is really too bad, but these things happen, out of our hands. All tickets can be refunded at point of purchase. DIED YOUNG STAYED PRETTY: Screening At The Royal/Contest

Starting Fri. Nov 14, our Little Italy neighbours at The Royal Cinema (608 College St.) present the Toronto premiere of Died Young Stayed Pretty: A Movie About Rock Posters, featuring artists and groups such as Art Chandry, Jay Ryan, Rob Jones, Print Mafia, and The Ames Brothers, who have designed posters for the likes of Arcade Fire, Broken Social Scene, and Sonic Youth. Director Eileen Yaghoobian will be in attendance at all screenings, and one of two pairs of tickets that we're giving away to this engagement could be yours by filling out an e-mail ballot over at our Contests page.
